Dining for WildlifeLocal Restaurants Raise over $20,000 to Support Conservancy of Southwest Florida Wildlife Clinic Each year the Conservancy of Southwest Florida promotes Dining for Wildlife, a fundraising benefit for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. This benefit gives southwest Florida residents and restaurateurs' the opportunity to creatively contribute to an exceptional cause.
On April 21, over 700 people, including Conservancy volunteers, and 21 restaurants, participated in "Dining for Wildlife" and raised over $20,000. Half the proceeds from the fixed price special menus were donated to the Conservancy Wildlife Clinic. Judy Tryka, Conservancy volunteer, chaired the event for the second year in a row. Participating local community restaurants included: Alexander's Restaurant, Baleen at LaPlaya, Bamboo Café, Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar, Bistro 821, Bleu Provence, HB's on the Gulf, M Waterfront Grille, Naples Tomato, Olio at Naples Bay, Preston's Steakhouse, Remy's Bistro, Ridgway Bar & Grill, Ristorante Ciao, SeaSalt, St. George & the Dragon, The Bay House, The Dock, The Real Macaw, The Riverwalk and The Turtle Club. 2010 Dining for Wildlife sponsored by:
